Mr. Olatinwo Phillip, an expelled student activist of the University of Ibadan has finalized his legal action against the university management. Mr. Olatinwo Phillip finalized all ongoing Legal Consultation and proceeded to the Federal High Court, Ibadan to officially initiate a legal process to demand for his reinstatement as a Student of the University of Ibadan. Earlier last year, on the basis of the findings of the aftermath of the Zik-Idia Fracas, Mr Olatinwo Phillip was expelled from the University, however, Mr Olatinwo Phillip maintained his innocence and wrote to the Governing Council, which still upheld the verdict. Having exhausted all legally available machineries to resolve internal issues within the University of Ibadan, Mr. Olatinwo Phillip has decided to challenge his Expulsion in Court. A lecturer from the department of Accounting, Obafemi Awolowo University, Professor Reverend Akindele Richard was allegedly recorded on phone while requesting for sex from an undergraduate student in order to pass her.
